Federal Government opens Application Portal for Free IT training for Nigerians.

In partnership with the National Information Technology Agency (NITDA) and Coursera, an online learning platform, the Nigerian Government has provided and opened a portal for all Nigerians to apply for free IT Training (Cohort 3).

Cohort 3 of the training will focus on digital skills, including Data Analysis and Visualization, Software Development, IU/UX Design, social media Marketing and many others.

According to the NITDA’s head of Corporate Affairs and External Relations, Hadizar Umar, “the training aligns with the agency’s drive to implement President Tinubu’s plan to create 1 million digital jobs in the ICT sector.

Technological Skills which Applicants will be trained in

Applicants for the Cohort 3 of the Free IT training will be trained in the following skills:

The training will run for three months, after which those who complete the course will be issued a digital certificate from Coursera.
