Eligibility For The Reach Oxford Scholarship 

They include the following:

• This scheme is only suitable for candidates who have received an offer and who are of the highest academic ability.
• Financial need, social commitment and lack of ability to study for a degree in their own country are also major criteria for selection.
• Applicants should intend to return to their country following their studies. 
• Candidates must be an undergraduate 
• Applicants must be nationals of countries who receive official development assistance from the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). 

What Does The Reach Oxford Scholarship Cover 

The Reach Oxford scholarship for international students covers the following:

• Duration: 3 or 4 years, depending on the course duration 
• Value: Course fees, a grant for living costs and one return air fare per year 
• Number: Around 2 to 3 awards per year 

Further Information

• Scholars will be expected to write an annual report about their academic and social activities and achievements at the University.
• Receipt of the award in subsequent years is subject to satisfactory academic progress.
• Applicants should be aware that competition for the scheme is very high and the University does not have additional funding for those candidates who are not offered a scholarship.

Application Timeline 

• You must make an application to the University of Oxford for an undergraduate course through UCAS by 15 October 2025, and be successful in gaining a place. 
• The application for the 2026 academic session will be open by January 2026.
• The deadline for the application 4th February, 2026.
• For 2026 entry applicants who apply by the scholarship deadline, the selection process will be undertaken in March 2026.
• Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by May 2026.
