Eligibility Criteria For The Newcastle Scholarship

To be considered for the scholarship, all applicants must:

• Be assessed as international for fee purposes:
• Offer a spot in an appropriate undergraduate program for the 2026–2027 academic year at the University’s campus in Newcastle’s city centre.
• Already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent
• Must accept Newcastle University as first choice with UCAS by 5th June 2026
• The evaluation of qualified applicants will be based on their application quality, academic aptitude, and dedication to their studies.

To apply, you must already have an offer to attend the university. Our goal is to notify you of the decision within four weeks of the first closing date if your application is submitted before midnight UK time on that date. You will receive your results four to six weeks after the second closing date if you apply after the first but before the second.
