How Foreign-Trained Nigerian Graduates Can Apply For NYSC        

There are steps to follow when applying for NYSC to ensure a smooth registration and mobilisation process.

  1. Online Registration

To register for NYSC, visit the official NYSC portal at portal.nysc.org.ng. Create an account by registering with a valid Nigerian phone number and email address. Ensure they are functional as they will be used for future communications.

Complete the registration form by providing accurate personal details, including your name, date of birth, and educational background.

2. Upload Required Documents

During the registration process, you will be required to upload some documents. You must upload the original document. They include

The online registration and document upload are not all that is required. After completing them, a physical verification is required.  At the physical verification, you need to present your documents at the NYSC directorate headquarters in Abuja for verification.

Then, NYSC will evaluate your credentials and determine if you are eligible for service or exemption.

NYSC Exemption For Foreign Graduates

Foreign-trained Nigerian graduates who are eligible for exemption from NYSC service can obtain their exemption certificate through the following process.
