This year, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP 28, will take place in Dubai and is expected to draw attention to the various issues that confront a region vulnerable to water scarcity, elevated temperatures, sea level rise, and the growth of deserts due to climate change.
The meeting will bring world leaders together to emphasize the need to transform the global economy to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and counteract the accelerating impacts of climate change, which disproportionately affect regions like the Middle East and Africa.
To achieve the necessary transformative changes, governments and businesses must adopt new technologies to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address the effects of climate change.
