U.S Mission In Nigeria – Biden’s Delegation Arrives For Tinubu Inauguration

The delegation from United States President Joe Biden, consisting of nine members, has arrived in Abuja for the inauguration of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The U.S. Mission expressed their excitement in welcoming the delegation, led by Secretary Fudge from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to Nigeria.

The mission shared the news on Twitter, stating their anticipation for the upcoming inauguration.

Marcia L. Fudge, the Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, leads the delegation.

Other members of the delegation include David Greene, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja; Sydney Kamlager-Dove, a United States Representative from California (D); Marisa Lago, the Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade at the U.S. Department of Commerce; Michael E. Langley, the Commander of U.S. Africa Command; and Enoh T. Ebong, the Director of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.

Additional members of the delegation include Mary Catherine Phee, an Honorable Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of African Affairs at the U.S. Department of State; Judd Devermont, an Honorable Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for African Affairs at the National Security Council; and Monde Muyangwa, an Honorable Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Africa at the U.S. Agency for International Development.
