The entire Igbo Youths for Positive Change has confirmed that there is nothing wrong with the N100bn Ioan request which the Governor of Anambra state, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, is applying for.
The particular group justifies that there was a lot of work to do in Anambra state and Gov. Soludo was ready to get them done.
This is just as the group also admonished the Anambra state House of Assembly for the passage of the 2022 revised annual budget, which, according to it, shows that the entire lawmakers of the state are in support of the governor Soludo’s mission to turn the state to a liveable and prosperous state.
Reports has it that the governor had written the Anambra state house of Assembly to allow the passage of a loan of about N100bn to accomplish his mission.
The loan facility, according to Governor Soludo’s letter, would majorly be for the construction of key infrastructure in the state.
Addressing journalists in Awka, on Monday, the National President, IYPC, Mr Chinedu Obigwe, said the loan request, if secured, would be used for the public good.
He also commended the state lawmakers for the passage of the 2022 revised budget presented to them by Soludo, pointing out that the passage of the budget has shown that light will always triumph over darkness.
He stressed that the Assembly speaker demonstrated uncommon leadership qualities, capacity and competence in the discharge of his duties.
“As for the Governors N100bn Ioan request, there is nothing wrong with it. Soludo has the burning desire to turn his state Anambra into a liveable abode.
“There is a lot of work to do in Anambra and the governor is determined to get them done. There is nothing wrong with the governor’s loan request because if secured, he will use the money for the public good.
“Ndi Anambra, the solution to all our adversaries is here with us. Let us show more support to the Gov. Soludo for the mission to turn our state into a liveable abode.
“We thank the entire House committee on for the role great they played to ensure the passage of the revised budget.
