In the early hours of Thursday, June 17, 2021, gunmen raided the Government Girls secondary school, Burnin, yarri in Kebbi state.

From the little details that have been hovering here and there, we have learned that at least a record number of 30 students and 3 teachers are left unaccounted for following the departure of the supposed kidnappers.

The attackers who rode on motorcycles were said to have stormed the school from a neighboring Rijau forest emptying scores of magazines that enabled them to overpower the mobile police attached to the school.
