To pay electricity bills through this platform, these are the steps to follow:
- Open your web browser
- Visit the BuyPower website at buypower.ng
- Enter your phone number and click on Buy Electricity
- You will see a new page; enter your meter number, state and any other required information, including your email address.
- After that, you click on Continue to payment information.
- Fill out the payment information, confirm the order, and make the payment.
- You will receive the token via SMS or email and see it on your transaction history on the Buypower app if you have it.

- Visit the VTU page to pay electricity bills on your web browser.
- Choose the electricity distribution company
- Also, select the meter type
- Put in the meter number and ensure that it is correctly entered
- Put in the amount you want to pay or the amount of electricity you wish to purchase (minimum of #1,000 and maximum of #100,000 per transaction)
- Click on the Continue button for the validation of your meter/account number and also for review and verification of the information you have previously provided
- Click on the Buy Now button to make a payment either from your wallet fund /balance, card or bank transfer
- After successfully paying the electricity bill, you will receive the token in an SMS, email or on the transaction history of the vtu.ng.

- log in to your account
- Click on Pay electricity bill on the left corner of the page
- Select the distribution company
- proceed to select the meter type, add your phone number, meter number, email address, and amount
- Click on Continue
- Put in any other required information, complete the steps and pay your electricity bills.

These are the steps to follow if you wish to pay electricity bills through quickteller.com:
- Go to quickteller.com
- Log in to the account
- Click on Pay Bills at the left corner of the page
- You will see a new page, and click on Utilities on that new page.
- You will be shown a list of electricity distribution companies; scroll up or down to locate the company for which you wish to pay electricity bills.
- Complete the form by filling out the required areas and then click continue.
- Filling in any other information needed to complete the steps
