Currently, there are employment opportunities available in the following positions:

1.) Accountant

Job Locations: Adamawa and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Check and confirm invoices, waybills, and purchase orders received and sent out.
Create a request for a check payment with all the required documents attached.
Ensuring that financial records are maintained in accordance with taxation and accounting regulations.
.Assessing the effectiveness of internal control systems and offering recommendations for improvement.
Record transactions in journals, ledgers, and other relevant documents.
Match the accounts payable transactions of each vendor with their respective records to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Keep up-to-date records of vendors, among other related tasks.

Requirements

Applicants are required to have completed either a Bachelor’s Degree or an HND program in Accounting.
Having at least two years of experience working as an Accountant in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company is mandatory.
Ability to effectively operate various Accounting Software, including Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
Having an ACA certification is a beneficial factor.
The requirement is for the candidate to be based in Lagos.

Job Description

The applicant should have a strong understanding of the functioning of equipment used in food production.
The candidate should possess the ability to organize and oversee temporary employees.
Keep a record of the shift activities and other relevant information.
The ideal candidate should possess the skills to carry out regular machine checks, perform corrective actions when necessary, conduct maintenance, lubrication and inspections, and keep their immediate work area clean.
Capture data related to production, such as product type, date, weight, and quality.
Follow safety protocols and guarantee that the products meet rigorous quality criteria.

Qualification And Experience

A requirement for a relevant field of study is either a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree at a minimum.
A period of 4 to 5 years of previous work involvement in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) organization is necessary.
