A fire broke out at a section of the Supreme Court this morning. The cleaning staff noticed the incident at around 6 a.m., and most employees who arrived for work promptly raised the alarm.
The fire caused harm to a portion of the judges’ chamber at the highest court.
Festus Akande, the Public Relations Officer of the Supreme Court, reassured the public that the fire incident, which occurred on Monday morning, will not impact the upcoming presidential election petition.
