Job Position: Revenue Assurance Assistant
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description and Roles
- Collaborate with Revenue Assurance to identify technical challenges with the Remit and deductions setup responsible for loan default.
- Collaborate with Revenue Assurance to know the customers’ account status with Remit.
- To carry out action plans from the monthly credit review of delinquent loans.
- Recovery of delinquent loans after credit review.
- Daily call memo to delinquent customers through phone calls, emails, or even in-person visits to discuss repayment options.
- Negotiate payment plans with debtors, considering their financial situation and aiming to recover the maximum amount possible.
- To follow up with debtors who have gone missing or are not reachable.
- When necessary, liaise with legal to initiate legal proceedings to recover the debt.
- Report recovery progress and rates weekly and monthly to the Risk department.
- Other duties assigned by the Head of Risk.
Key Requirements For Revenue Assurance Assistant Job At Source Microfinance Bank
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Revenue Assurance (Risk Unit) is essential.
- Proven data analytics skills/experience are essential. Should be comfortable with Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc
- Experience working with Remita and similar platforms, credit bureau, and CBA is essential for the role
- Previous and proven usage of Microsoft Office, accounting and core banking solutions is essential for the role holder.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required.
- Candidate must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and should be a self-starter.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
