Eligibility criteria for the Bangor University 2026 Vice-Chancellor Scholarship

  • Excellent Academic Background – achieved or on course to achieve the equivalent of a UK 1st class Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated commitment towards sustainable development in your own country and working towards supporting future generations.
  • You must be self-funding. Candidates who are fully sponsored by a third party will not be entitled to this Scholarship.
  • Only open to students paying International Tuition Fee Levels.
  • The above scholarship is available for full-time on-campus courses only.
  • Not open to students studying at Bangor University International College (BUIC).
  • Not open to Non-graduating students, e.g. Study Abroad

How To apply For The Bangor University 2026 Vice-Chancellor Scholarship   

Step One: You MUST have an offer or be applying to study at Bangor University before you can apply for this scholarship.
Step Two: Check your Eligibility for the scholarship and carefully read the conditions listed below.
Step Three: Complete the Vice-Chancellor scholarship application form before the deadline.
Step Four: Eligible applications will be forwarded to the academic school to make a decision, and the successful candidate will be informed by July 2025 (September intake), April 2025 (May intake), and the beginning of January 2026 (January intake).

Step Five: To accept the scholarship, you will be required to complete a scholarship acceptance form and pay a tuition fee deposit (amount stated on your offer letter) within two weeks of the scholarship offer.

Application Deadline

Interested and qualified candidates should submit their application by December 8, 2025.
