In this video, the name Santa Claus does not belong to a particular individual, but rather it is a hereditary name that belongs to a group of people who are gift-givers. The Christmas Chronicles

The Christmas Chronicles is an American comedy film produced by 1492 Picture and Wonder worldwide, it was released on November 22, 2018, on Netflix.

The movie revolves around Santa Claus, Kate and Teddy, who go about sharing Christmas presents with people in readiness for Christmas morning but along the line, they land themselves into trouble which they are able to get out of just an hour before Christmas morning.

With the remaining one hour, they go about sharing the Christmas present. And after they have successfully distributed the present, each goes home to recount their entire adventure.

Scrooge: The Christmas Carol

This is a 2022 animated musical fantasy comedy-drama film that was released on 18 November 2022 in the United States and on 2 December 2022 in the United Kingdom and is produced by Timeless Films and Axis Studio.

In the movie, Scrooge is the main protagonist who hates Christmas and is also a greedy money lender, making his subjects suffer. But immediately after seeing his former business partner and friend who was like him before he died and is now suffering.

His friend told him to turn a new leaf and promised to send him three visitors who could teach him how to become a better man. Just as he was about to go to bed, he received his first visitor (called past) who showed him his past life and how he maltreated others.

The second visitor called the present was meant to show Scrooge how to live a new life and the third visitor who was called the future showed him what would be his fate if he didn’t turn from his evil ways.

Before the next morning, Scrooge has fully repented of his ways and now goes around helping people.

The Polar Express

This is the story of a boy who sees a magical train bound for the North Pole stop at his window and after some persuasion from the conductor, he reluctantly boards the magical train and meets other children who are heading to North on a visit to Santa Claus’s home.

The Grinch

Grinch is a green, furry, pot-bellied, snub-nosed Humanoid who has a heart that is two times smaller. He is the main character who hates the Christmas holiday with passion, so that very day before Christmas, he decides to put an end to the cheers of the season.

So, at night he disguised himself as Santa Claus and broke into the Who’s home to steal everything that they had. He completed his mission and as he was on his way to a nearby mountain to dump it off the next morning he was shocked to see the Whos’ Family joyfully singing.

He then understood that the season held a deeper meaning to the Whos than he first thought, so inspired by that, he stopped the food from falling off the mountain and returned it not the Whos. And gladly took part in the Christmas celebration.

Edward Scissorhands

This is a 1990 American movie that was produced by Burton and Denise Di Nova. It is a romantic and heart-touching story of Edward (the humanoid with scissors hands) and Kim (the girl that he loves).

It starts with how he was living a lonely life and then later accepted into the Boggs family and neighbourhood. Then, the neighbourhood suddenly developed a hatred for him, especially Jim (Kim’s boyfriend) and Esmeralda (the eccentric Religious fanatic).

Elf

Released on November 7, 2003, in the United States Elf is a comic American Christmas movie that tells the story of an eccentric human who was raised by Santa’s elves and grew up to believe that he is an elf.

But upon reaching adulthood, he is told that he is not an elf but rather human, so he leaves in search of his father who was already on Santa’s Naughty list due to his selfishness but could be redeemed by Buddy (the elf).

Bad Santa

Two criminals, Willie and Marcus who disguise themselves as Santa Claus and his elf travel across the country using the goodwill the people send them to rob them. they both get a job at the departmental store.

On Christmas Eve, Willie (a sex addict) and his dwarf assistant steal from the store at night having Marcus’ wife Lois as their getaway driver. Willie has sex with the bartender called Sue and also steals Roger’s BMW 740iL many other atrocities he goes about committing finally get them into trouble.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

This is also known as Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. It is an animated dark fantasy film that was released in 1993. it is the artwork of stop motion animation.

This is a story about the misadventure of Jack Skellington (the Hallowentown’s king) who is in search of a new way to celebrate their Halloween festival because he is bored with the same annual festival.

While he goes about making plans to celebrate Christmas just as he sees Santa Claus doing, he doesn’t know that his Christmas gift will only end up scaring the citizens and because he did not heed the advice given to him by his crush (Sally) but rather sent his subjects to kidnap Santa in a bid to bring Christmas under his control.

He almost succeded in spoiling the Christmas spirit except for the timely intervention Santa who then gave the people the real Christmas presents.

It’s a Wonderful Life

This is a story about a wonderful life lived by wonderful people in wonderful pictures, George Bailey wishes that he had never been born. Still, when an angel makes his wish come true, he begins to see the impact that he had on a great number of lives and also realizes that their lives would have been different if he was not there.

The Santa Clause

After accidentally killing a man in Santa’s suit, the divorced dad (Tim Allen) who has custody of their son (Eric Lloyd) was teleported to the note pole where they met an elf who told him that he would take the place of Santa.
