Down the road of self-discovery as an undergraduate, I realized that the course I chose wasn’t what I loved doing but a childhood fantasy i thought i owed myself to fulfil.

While faced with this turmoil, i decided to change my course before the admission list was released. And that’s what i will share with you here, the step-by-step process to change your course.

Step By Step Process To Change Course Before The Release Of Admission List 

Having gone through this process personally, i would say it is very easy and helpful as well because you can do it without assistance from someone else. The steps to follow include the following:

1. On the Jamb sign-up (New User) Page, you must create a profile if you’re a new user. Enter your login information if you are an existing user.

To create your profile, enter your first name, last name, mobile number, state, LGA of origin, password, and functioning email address.

After that, click the Sign Up button. Every applicant is only allowed to have one profile.

2. Subsequently, you shall use your email address and password to sign in.

3. Once logged in, you will be taken to the landing page to see all available services.

4. Select “Correction of Data”. This is available on the sidebar or the Home page

5. Once selected, the “Course/Institution” menu item will be revealed. Click this.

6. Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated. This will be displayed on the confirmation page.

7. Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note that the Transaction ID is displayed in bold red font. The Transaction ID is useful for all future reference regarding the Transaction. A copy of this transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.

8. Choose your preferred Payment Gateway.

9. Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. Click on the Pay button.

10. Your payment status is in the “My Payment Section.” You will receive an email with your payment status and unique transaction identification as soon as the payment is completed. Click the “Continue” button.

11. Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following:
a. Year of Exam and
b. JAMB Registration Number

12. After entering the information correctly, new options for Preferred course/Institution and second choices will appear. Options available will be based on availability.

13. Click Submit to complete your application.

14. JAMB will now process your application. If approved, your details will be changed as requested.
