Yesterday was a big day for celebrities in New York as a handful went all out for the Met Gala event. The Met Costume Institute Gala short-formed Met Gala is a distinguished annual fundraiser devoted to New York City’s Metropolitan of Art’s Costume Institute.
It is fondly called the fashion’s biggest night out and usually hosts around 600 attendees with high profile celebrities, designers, media executives and paparazzi.
Annually, the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition acts as a source of motivation for the theme of the Met Gala, specifically the attire expectations, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” which was the theme of this year’s show pays tribute to the late German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld The designer who had a strong impact on several of the most well-known fashion houses and caused significant changes.
