Sometimes, they can be alterations to the clearance schedule; in most cases, the regular clearance schedule can be altered when the local inspector (LI) attends the orientation camp for a new group of corps members.  Alterations such as this may cause the clearing period to last longer than ten days.

  4. You will find a table showing your clearance status for each month in the LGA Clearance section. It will record your attendance and show whether you were designated as “Absent” or “Present” for the current and prior months.
  5. If you prefer, you can enlarge the list shown for a more thorough overview of your attendance history. The table displays 10 entries by default, but you can expand it to 20 to quickly view a larger portion of your service year.

It is essential to note that the clearance procedure is conducted digitally, and the site automatically records your thumbprint. However, delays can occasionally be caused by technical difficulties, such as network problems.

How To Complete The Final NYSC Clearance

The final NYSC clearance is the one that takes place at the conclusion of the service year.  For this exercise, corps members will need to get the final clearance letter from their PPA and other important paperwork from NYSC. 

These documents must be obtained and submitted for final clearance.  The final NYSC clearance is significant to the granting of the NYSC certificate of national service.

Corps members will be required to present the following

  • NYSC identity card
  • Original and photocopied credentials
  • LGA reference letter. A clearance certificate is issued after information is validated.
  • Corps members are granted final clearance by their PPA. The  ID card must be stapled to the final clearance once it has been signed and stamped on letterhead from the place or company where the PPA was completed.
  • To get cleared, corps members are to present the document to their Area Inspector or LGI.
  • After that, they will be signed and cleared for CDS, Foundation Form, and Magazine payment by your CDS Officer (CDS Coordinator).
  • The final clearance will be taken to the Z.I. (LGI) Office by the CDS Officer or Coordinator for a Z.I. stamp, after which it will be returned to you.
  • You utilise that as your last biometric clearance. The officer will sign and stamp your final clearance for the last biometrics when it is completed.
  • At the time of certificate collection, corps members are to show the final clearance document.
