Uniform Codes For All Networks: NCC Approves Same USSD Codes For All Networks

You are encountering difficulties in checking your data/airtime balance because the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has authorized unified USSD codes to be used by all mobile networks in Nigeria. These standardized shortcodes will be compatible with every mobile network in the country.

All the network codes are now uniform. Therefore, starting today, you should use the same principle if you use any of the following networks: MTN, Airtel, Glo, or 9mobile.

Here are the recently introduced Unified USSD codes applicable to all mobile networks in Nigeria:

  • Call Centre: 300
  •  Borrow Services: *303#
  •  Stop Service: *305#
  •  Check Balance: *310#
  •  Credit Recharge: *311#
  •  Data Plan: *312#
  •  Data plan balance: *323#
  •  Shared Services: *321#
  • DND: 2442
  •  Porting services: 3232
  • NIN Verification and NIN-SIM Linkage: *996#

These codes are now universally applicable to all Nigerian networks, whereas the previous codes are no longer functional.
