A Plot to dethrone APC: LP moves to merge with NNPP, Tanko Says. Dr Yunusa Tanko spokesman for the National consultative forum(NCF) and labour party, when asked in an interview with Arise News, affirmed positively to the conspicuous lingering question of if there were plots to dethrone APC as the ruling government and outstrip its candidate in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.

He, while giving a response verbatim said they were making perfectly articulated moves to merge Peter Obi of the labour party and kwankwaso Rabiu of The NNPP in order to reduce the striking influence of the all-progressive congress and engender victory in their own definition come 2023 presidential election.

He believes that Peter Obi, to whom the southern part of Nigeria is well accustomed, should become abreast with the northern side in order to further fly his agenda.

And a way by which such can be achieved is with close partnership with Rabiu Kwankwaso.

The two underdogs who sprawled from domestic awareness to become flag bearers of their respective political parties have had a history of buoyancy, character, resilience, and determination, a sure-fire combination for brewing leaders, as attested by Dr Tanko.

Dr Tanko also commented on how the labour party plans to use Peter obi’s presence and skyrocketing popularity as a strong foot.

he said Peter obi had already won the interest of the younger generation and a round fraction of Nigeria’s immersed population.

He hinged on his influence as the former governor of Anambra state and how he utilized its resources to shorten the gap existing between his statemen and progress.

He, upon conclusion, commented on Rabiu Kwankwaso, saying he shares striking qualities with Peter Obi as both men are similar in character and possess leadership qualities.

He prayed that Nigerians in their full capacity would root in support of them as he publicly announced his desire for the youths to become a part of the labour party.
