How to prepare for a camp

When going camping, one major and important thing to note about camping is that, no matter where it is done, you would be leaving the comfort of your home and going to a tasking environment. Your preparation should not tend towards making yourself comfortable but towards adjusting and surviving. Arrangement for basic necessities should be foremost. When going for camp:

Sleep well a night the night to your trip as you might spend the whole of the following day clearing and arranging your camp area
⮚ Pack and repack. This would help you minimize your intended luggage, pack lightly, and properly fit them in your camping bag.
⮚ Pack according to the weather and terrain. Camping activities are meant to make you smart and responsive to any situation, therefore clothes and shoes should be able to serve all weather. Note you are going to be outside a lot

⮚ Take very proper care of yourself in the camp. That it is not your home and you are not comfortable doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take care of yourself or wait till you get home before treating yourself well.
⮚ Lastly and most importantly, have fun, communicate, make new friends, and don’t break the rules. Unlike camping in the movies, dangers would be very real and may be catastrophic; it’s better avoided than experimented with.
