Nnamdi Kanu: unknown gunmen in the southeast, not IPOB, The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has warned the unidentified assailants, also known as “Unknown Gunmen” in the Southeast.
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has warned the unidentified assailants, also known as “Unknown Gunmen” in the Southeast.
Kanu said the days of unidentified gunmen in the Southeast are coming to an end.
He gave this warning during his regular meeting with his legal team, led by Ifeanyi Ejiofor, at the DSS facility on Thursday, and it was contained in a statement he signed. Kanu stated that the unidentified assailants have no ties to IPOB and are criminals.
Ejiofor made a statement and it reads: “We seized the opportunity offered by the visit to brief Onyendu (Nnamdi Kanu) of the barbaric act of the criminal gangs who kidnapped my auntie a week ago, and her subsequent release.
“It is pertinent to note that the criminal gangs, who engaged in this sacrilegious act, in active connivance with some locals, have nothing to do with IPOB.”
“They are pure criminals who would soon be apprehended. To this end, Onyendu declared the days of these monsters are numbered.”
