Introduction

Unit Plan: A unit plan is that type of lesson plan is for teachers who do not perform better with bulky plans. The unit plan is a simple guide for instruction (teaching). It simply contains lesson objectives, a list of activities and evaluation. This lesson plan is flexible.

Five step lesson Plan: This lesson plan includes a set of instructions set by a teacher, objectives, the content of the lesson, a modelling step or practice where a teacher is expected to show or demonstrate to the students an activity, a guided practice, an assessment or evaluation step.

Weekly Lesson Plan: This is a plan for teachers who are to cover a similar or a broad topic for an entire learning or lesson week. In this type of lesson plan, a teacher ensures to state the lesson objectives, questions for evaluation and assessments.

Inquiry or skill lesson based lesson plan: This lesson plan is structured basically if the students are expected to acquire a particular skill at the end of a lesson. This lesson plan is based on making enquiries on students’ ability. The objectives and evaluation in this type of lesson plan evaluation are not done or shown on worksheets but on practices.

It also triggers discussions among students, discussing concepts and ideas. It is also done to build and to strengthen students’ mental capacity.
