Preparing for UTME 2024: See the Full List of Items You Must Not Take to the Exam Venue

While preparing for UTME 2024, which you have waited so long for, there are some things you must be aware of concerning the examination, especially the items you must not take to the exam venue.

According to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), “these items were prohibited to secure the sanctity and integrity of the Board’s examination.”

In preparation for the UTME 2024 examination, the Board has issued a fresh list of items that candidates must not take to the exam centre. These items include calculators, smartwatches, earpieces, and earphones.

The Board further warned that every candidate should abstain from entering the examination hall with these items.

Items you must not take to the Examination Centre/Hall for UTME 2024

There are items which candidates are advised not to take into the exam hall, and they include;

1. Mobile Phone
2. Biro
3. Smart Watch
4. Smart Lens or spy reading glasses (Unprescribed glasses)
5. Calculator
6. Bluetooth Device
7. Smart Pens
8. Storage Devices (Hard drives, Flash Disk, etc.)
9. Recorders
10. Camera
11. Ink/pen readers
12. Earpieces
13. Microphones
14. Smart Rings and Jewelries
15. Erasers
16. ATM cards
17. Key Holders, etc.

While preparing for UTME 2024, because it is only a matter of a day or two before the exam is started, ensure that you do not enter the exam hall with any of these 17 items that you must not take to the exam centre.
