Queen Of Afrobeats Tiwa Savage, Performs Auspiciously At The Coronation Of King Charles III And Queen Camilla At Windsor Castle In England.
Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress who is known as the Queen of Afrobeats, achieved a historic milestone on May 7th when she performed at the coronation concert of King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle in England. This was a unique opportunity as no Nigerian artist had ever performed at a royal coronation.
During the coronation concert at Windsor Castle, Tiwa Savage amazed the audience with her exceptional performance of “Keys to the Kingdom,” a song she collaborated on with Mr Eazi and featured on Beyoncé’s album, “The Lion King.” Tiwa Savage’s performance was accompanied by a magnificent orchestra composed of violinists, drummers, and backup singers who sang in the Yoruba language. The concert also featured prominent international musicians such as Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Take That, Freya Ridings, Alexis Ffrench, Andrea Bocelli, and Sir Bryn Terfel.
Savage appeared striking at the concert filled with celebrities. The accomplished musician wore a green off-the-shoulder dress that was both fitted and flowing. The dress had a corseted bodice, ruffled detailing at the centre, and a long sash that created a dramatic train. Due to the length of the dress, her footwear was not visible, but it is assumed that she paired the outfit with sharp pumps, platform heels, or strappy sandals.
