He has warned residents ranging from civilians of all caliber to military personnel not to engage in such unholy procession that has been programmed to kick off on democracy day.

According to the special adviser, media, and publicity to the governor, Christian Ita, he advises the general public to observe the ban on public procession and gathering. He also emphasized that the ban is still running, That all and every individual hoping to spearhead a protest should do so but it shouldn’t do as much as exceed the boundary of their abode.

He charged all parental figures to grip their wards firmly to prevent the dire results of an unforeseen eventuality.

As contained in the daily post-Nigeria;

“Due to the prevailing security situation in the country, government will not permit any procession or gathering under any guide on June 12 which is designated as democracy day. The Governor urges anyone or group of person’s wishing to mark the June 12 Democracy day to do sp quietly within the confines of their homes.

“Parents are hereby advised to keep a  firm grip on their kids and wards to prevent them from falling prey to agents of destabilization. Government warns that it will not allow anyone or group to break the peace enjoyed in the state”

This stern warning was issued to all potential agitators aspiring to color the city in blood by not only upholding the idea of a riot but implementing it for the designation of the country. The government would not give breeding space for such act of lawlessness to occupy.
