Time management enables you to prioritize work, achieve your goals and helps preserve the work-life balance. For effective time management, an individual or members of an organization must be willing to keep distractions away, effectively prioritize, set targets and break them down.

Luckily for us, this is the 21st century, the digital age where technology has helped solve a lot of problems and ineffective time management is on that list. A lot of time management programs are now integrated into mobile technology, some people might proclaim that mobile devices tend to serve as some sort of distraction but a recent survey on the effects of mobile devices on employees was conducted in which 70% of the participants revealed that their mobile devices improved or had no negative effect on their work-life balance and also, apps have helped them become more efficient.

Using efficient apps to help with time management gives you in-depth insight on how to set measurable objectives for your organization and it most definitely creates a less stressful working environment. Time management apps are also very flexible and can be made to fit any kind of organization.

So, let’s take a look at time management apps that are a must-have for members of any organizations.

  • Grammarly: This app acts as an additional set of eyes, you no longer have to spend time scheming through emails or content you’ve written, looking for grammatical errors. This app points out overused and also misspelt words.
  • Evernote: One of the four most important tools for time management is a notebook, the Evernote app helps you retain notes, images and memos which can be easily accessed when required. It also provides a feature in which you can take a picture of a written note and store it.
  • Tomato Timer: Most at times when you decide to take a quick 5 minutes to break you glance back at your watch only to discover that your intended 5 minutes has suddenly become 10, with the Tomato Timer you can set a time limit for any activity so it becomes easier to quickly accomplish everything on your to-do list.
  • TickTick: TickTick is a must-have application for any organization, this app serves a planner, and also lets you organize your appointments, events, to-do list, chores etc. It also allows you merge your calendar so you never have to worry about missing a deadline.

This app lets you set a scheme for when your mail gets delivered so it arrives at specific times. Other various features include being able to stop emails from coming in for a specific period and also allowing emails from only specific people like your boss.
