Job Summary

The successful candidate will oversee the cash flow management, both incoming and outgoing, for Rainoil’s stations and depots. Additionally, they will be in charge of maintaining precise records and books to document all transactions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate the availability of funds for day-to-day operational expenses and emergencies by ensuring adequate cash flow.
• Maintain accurate records to facilitate disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment of funds.
• Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability for all cash advances.
• Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements.
• Reconcile all cash received and recorded in the petty cash book with expenses.
• Process payments for accounts and issue receipts.
• Keep records of all amounts received and paid, regularly checking the cash balance against these records.
• Collect money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements.
• File all documents related to cash payments and collections.
• Address queries regarding approvals, payment limits, and deadlines for expense retirements.
• Retire various imprest accounts.
• Prepare daily and weekly collections and payment summary reports for review by the station supervisor.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
• At least one year of work experience in a similar position is necessary.
