How to Find and Recover Deleted Contacts On an Android Device

Below are the steps to find and recover deleted contacts on an Android device:

  • Open the Contacts app on your Android phone
  • Select the Google account that has the deleted contacts
  • Move to the bottom and click on Fix and Manage
  • Proceed to tap on Trash
  • You will see a list of contacts. Tap on the contact(s) you wish to recover
  • Tap on More More
  • Then, finally, click on Recover

Note: You can only recover deleted contacts if you backed it up to your Google account. Therefore, any contact that is not backed up will be permanently deleted and can’t be recovered.
