Ondo Black Sunday: Stop Issuing Ordinary Press Statement, Take conduct – CAN Tells Buhari
The Christian Association of Nigeria( CAN) has condemned the payoff of worshipers at St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
The CAN President, Dr Samson Ayokunle, in a statement, prompted the security agencies to incontinently seize the perpetrators of the cowardly crime.
He said “ This is sad, wrong, condemnable, outrageous, inferior, and cacodemonic. There’s no explanation for this unprovoked attack and assault on a place of deification. This is raw persecution.
These people are held, satanic, and aren’t working for the good of the country. May God descend heavily on them and fight all the agents of Satan in Jesus’ name”.
The CAN president also stated that the “imminence of instability has gotten out of them and is embarrassingly sore. The culprits are operating with impunity all over the country and unfortunately”.
The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria( CAN) has condemned the unprovoked attacks and payoff of several innocent worshippers at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa- Iowa Street, Owo, and called on the security agencies to seize the perpetrators of the cowardly crime.
We’re formerly again reiterating our hunt for a total catching of the security armature and are asking President Muhammadu Buhari to stop the recycling of those culprits and terrorists. However, how come the lawlessness is always on the increase and nowhere is safe again, If the program isn’t ineffective.
This imminence of instability has gotten out of hand and is embarrassingly sore. culprits are operating with impunity all over the country and unfortunately, our government appears to be so busy with the 2023 general election that it has no time for the everlasting killings in the country.
What heritage are the government and those who are the directors of our security armature leaving before for the future generation?
We’re soliciting for the government and the security agencies to get it right before it’ll be too late. However, what sweats are being put in place to arrest this unwelcome situation?
We call on the State Governors to meet with the President to find a continuing result to these killings If the Civil government isn’t interested in the State Police.
Issuing bare press statements of condemnation and what looks like empty pitfalls isn’t a way out of it.
CAN commiserates with all the bereft, the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye, the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria( CSN), and the Ondo State Government.
Signed by,
Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, Media Assistant to the CAN President, His Eminence, RevDr. Samson Ayokunle.
