A teaching hospital in commotion, The Osun state university teaching hospital was shaken to its very foundation after troops of hoodlums stormed it requesting a corpse.
As of Wednesday the 15th of June 2022, around 9:00 am the teaching hospital received unlikely visitors. each spirited, and wielding a variety of weapons ranging from cutlass and broken bottles to a cache of stab and hacking tools leaving the teaching hospital in commotion
while holding the entire medical ward and its composure to ransom, The invaders demanded the impromptu release of a dead body; a supposed colleague of theirs.
They refused appeals by the hospital to involve the security and adhere to stipulated hospital protocols thereby throwing the teaching hospital in commotion
When asked to pay, just for the sake of ensuring due process, the invaders bluntly refused and maintained their grounds, further threatening the peace of the teaching facility. This resulted in many abandoning their posts and taking shelter for their lives.
Albeit, sanity, and normalcy were restored after the Hoodlums successfully carted away the corpse of their man.
To this, the chairman of the medical advisory committee at Uniosun teaching hospital, Dr. Babatunde Afolabi confirmed.
In his words, he attested to the whole incident being put to rest at the expense of the requested corpse.
