Fake UTME 2024 Result Slip Printout: JAMB Gives Warning
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced to the public that the recently released UTME 2024 result cannot be checked or printed out from its website.
It further stated that the result has not been released on their website and that any result printed from the website is fake. They also warned that any UTME 2024 result slip presented now that is claimed to be printed from their website is false.
In the statement, “The board, once again, wishes to state clearly that the only way to check the 2024 UTME is UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number used by the candidate in registering for the UTME exercise. Ensure that the sim is not in any bundle.”
As indicated by JAMB, “This is the only possible method of checking UTME 2024. The public should also remember that anyone claiming to have his/her result slip printout is parading with a fake UTME 2024 result printout.”
“This is different from what was obtained last year. Hence, the result cannot and will not be found on the board website at the moment,” the board further stated.
Therefore, candidates are urged to follow the specified method (via SMS) to check their results and stop using a cybercafe or third-party entity.
