If you have mistakenly turned on the talkback feature, you can turn it off using Android shortcuts. This shortcut key may have been turned on, and you mistakenly activated the Android talkback feature with it.

To turn it off using the shortcuts, this is what you should do:

  • Long press the Volume button and listen for any confirmation that the talkback feature has been turned off
  • You can also search for any talkback shortcut or floating button on your screen. If there is one, you can tap on it and then double-tap to turn it off.

  • Tapon the Talkback switch to focus and then double tap to select
  • On the Confirmation page, tap on Stop to focus and then double-tap it to turn off the Android Talkback feature on your device

Note: The Android talkback feature allows you to tap on the screen once to focus and then double-tap on it again before you can access anything or perform any task on your phone.
