Nigerian LNG Post-Primary Scholarship 2024: How to Apply

Nigerian LNG Limited has invited Basic Six primary pupils to apply for the Nigerian LNG post-primary Scholarship 2024. This initiative was created as part of its social investment in the educational sector.

This scholarship award is for Basic Six public primary school pupils who are indigenes of any of the NLNG host communities in Rivers State.

There are several criteria that you must meet before you can apply for the Nigerian LNG Post-primary Scholarship 2024, and they are listed below.

Criteria for Eligibility

The Nigerian LNG Limited, which announced a scholarship award for public primary school children in Basic six, has outlined a list of criteria each applicant must meet to apply for the Nigerian LNG Post-primary Scholarship 2024 award. These criteria for eligibility:

• Applicants must be Basic six pupils attending a public primary school in Rivers state
• Applicants must not be more than 12 years of age
• Applicants must be indigene of the host communities in Rivers State and must provide an Indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC chairperson or chief of their community.
• Applicants must not be beneficiaries of other scholarship awards, grants and bursaries from different organisations.
• Applicants must provide their basic 4, 5, and 6 result sheets.
• A letter of identification from their Local Government council is also needed from applicants.
• Applicants must also have a provisional admission from one of the NLNG partner primary schools, which are Hallel College (Boarding) Rukpokwu, PortHarcout, Archdeacon Brown Secondary School Woji, PortHarcout, and Christie Toby Education Centre, Iriebe.
• Provide a recent passport-sized photograph taken without glasses not earlier than January 2024.
• Applicants must also present their birth certificate issued by the Nigerian Population Commission.

How to Apply for the Nigerian LNG Post-Primary Scholarship 2024

After you have confirmed you are eligible to apply for the Nigerian LNG Post-primary Scholarship 2024 award, you can now proceed to apply and below is the application procedure.

• Visit nigerialng.com
• Go to “Social Performance” at the top of the home page
• Select “Education”
• Then, Tap on the “PPSS Scholarship Application Scheme” image under the Related Link section to access the application portal.
• Tap on “Register Here” to create a profile.
• After you have created your profile, you can apply for the scholarship using your username and password.

Note: Ensure you upload all the required documents and files; you can be disqualified if the required documents are incomplete. Also, ensure that you put in your valid contact details and check your email constantly for the status of your application.

Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and invited for the selection test.

Also note that the deadline for applying for the Nigerian LNG Post-Primary Scholarship 2024 is April 22, 2024; therefore, all applicants should submit their applications before the date for closure of the application.
